Erasmus Student Network

Erasmus Student Network International (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation. Our mission is to represent international students, thus provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students helping Students.

ESN UP Olomouc provides assistance to the foreign students of Palacky University which is a member of many inter-university programmes including Erasmus.

At present, we organise and run several activities, such as:

  • Buddy System – become a friend with an Erasmus student and be his backup
  • Sport Activities – creating opportunities for sport
  • Trips – go for a trip within and outside of Czech Republic
  • Events – national parties, social work, celebrations of Holidays, dinners, etc.

Psychocas (Association of czech psychology students)

The Department of Psychology works closely with the Psychocas, a member of the European Federation of Psychology Students’ Associations (EFPSA).

The Association seeks to improve collaboration between the students from psychology departments at Charles University in Prague, Madsaryk University in Brno, and Palacky University in Olomouc.

Its activities include, the organization of professional seminars, workshops and lectures. Once a year it hosts a national professioanl conference and also runs volunteer projects, such as those for children in psychiatric hospital or other socially disadvantaged population groups.
